Gameplay in the Preserve Demo

The gameplay in Preserve is straightforward, players have to water tiles to make them habitable. Once the land tiles are habitable players can add plants and water sources, to create biomes for the wildlife. As you gain points you can also expand your map, to add more diverse biomes. My favorite mechanic in the game would have to be being able to pet the animals you place in biomes.
Accessibility in the Preserve Demo
While certain modes in Preserve require more thought and focus, I can still comfortably give it the “ChromaGlitch Gaming While Parenting” seal of approval. Everything can be done with just a mouse, for the most part.
A Relaxing Ambient Expereince

The music and ambient sounds in the Preserve demo are relaxing. A cool detail is that each biome has different sounds, and the further away you get from a biome the sounds of that biome also get further away.
The art style is pleasant to look at, and the plants in each biome look natural beside one another. The biomes in Preserve each have their own unique plants and animals, so I’m looking forward to seeing some of the other regions the full game will have.
Final Thoughts on the Preserve Demo
Overall the demo for Preserve was a great experience. Levels are easy to jump into and complete at your own pace. I would recommend checking out the Preserve demo while it is available on Steam.
