First start by building the exterior outline with black concrete blocks. This tutorial makes a guitar that is 31 blocks high, so be prepared to use a lot of concrete and terracotta. I recommend starting with a 4×31 hollow rectangle down the center, to help make sure the build is symmetrical.

Then make the bottom of the guitar 12 blocks across, then on a diagonal place a block on the row above the base. On the third row starting at another diagonal build up 6 blocks on each side. Then build in 1 block on each side, then on a diagonal build up two blocks on each side, start building back out with one block on a diagonal, and then go up three blocks.

Build inward once more on each side and then connect the guitar body to the arm of the guitar. From the very top of the guitar build 6 blocks down (remove any blocks from that starting rectangle that may still be there.

Next, add the interior outlines with black concrete. If you play with gravity enabled you can start filling in the guitar base with colored blocks so blocks will stay in place. Make a circle in the middle of the body of the guitar by placing 8 concrete blocks connecting on a diagonal to each other. Add a line of concrete blocks two rows below the opening. Take this time to also remove any excess interior outline blocks.

Now you can start adding color and customizing your guitar build. I went with a pink build, but you can swap the pink blocks with any color. You’ll need 162 blocks of the base’s main color (pink), 16 highlight blocks (white terracotta), and 20 blocks of a darker shade than your main color (pink terracotta). For the arm, you can use dark grey (10) and light grey (8) terracotta interchanging to make the arm of the guitar. For the top, use brown concrete (16) and regular terracotta (4), with your highlight color. You can also fill the hole in the center with stained glass or leave it open.

Optional

To add depth to the guitar copy the same steps to make the back of the guitar, and fill the back in with a solid color and the sides with the black concrete used for the outline. You can also use stained or tinted glass blocks to create cool effects on the handle.
