Gameplay in Goudlets

In Gourdlets, players will begin the game by building an island home for their gourdlets. Gourdlets are tiny vegetable folk, who spend their days and evenings wandering around and interacting with every corner of the island.
There are a variety of buildings and items players can place and decorate with. Most buildings have multiple color swatches for players to choose from, they also have interiors that gourdlets can enter and explore. Players can decorate interiors to look like residential homes and cafes and other businesses.
A Relaxing Experience

There are no objectives in Gourdlets, so players can spend as much time decorating the many areas of their islands as they want. Gourdlets features a full-screen mode and an idle mode, where players can watch their gourdlets roam their islands at the bottom of their screens.
In the idle mode, the build options are still accessible, which is great for players who want to play Gourdlets while working on other projects or watching YouTube videos. Having the ability to play Gourdlets while also working on or watching something else, makes Gourdlets a great game for players who sometimes have to share their computer. We’re giving it the “ChromaGlitch Gaming While Parenting” seal of approval because now Gracie’s Corner and Ms. Rachel can play while we game, and everyone is happy.
Final Thoughts on Gourdlets
Overall Gourdlets is a cute building sandbox game, with a great soundtrack. The cozy atmosphere makes it easy to spend hours building the perfect little island for the tiny residents. The idle mode is a great way to combine gaming and other tasks. If you enjoy cozy idle games, you should give Gourdlets a try. Gourdlets is available on Steam for $4.99.
