Dad’s Coming is a fast-paced cooperative game, by Brazilian indie game studio Cold Lahmen. Players will take on the role of siblings Kate and Bob, and attempt to tidy various houses before time runs out.

While gameplay in Dad’s Coming may seem easy to start, as players progress through levels additional hazards will be added. These hazards range from the family cat who has a habit of knocking things back over, and fragile windows and objects that can break.

Players also have the option of playing Dad’s Coming on their own for an additional challenge. Solo play involves swapping between siblings to clean up the houses quickly. Players will have to race against the clock by quickly throwing and placing items between floors while avoiding the same hazards.

Dad’s Coming supports local multiplayer, and online multiplayer using Steam Remote Play. Local multiplayer requires the use of a keyboard and mouse with a controller for the second player.

Final Thoughts on Dad’s Coming

Overall Dad’s Coming is a fun cooperative experience, that is also challenging playing solo. The gameplay mechanics are easy to quickly get used to, and the game is very fast-paced. If you enjoy games like Overcooked and The Untitled Goose Game, you should give Dad’s Coming a try.
