Discounty Overview & Demo Experience

In Discounty, players will manage a discount supermarket in the cozy town of Blomkest. Players will spend their days organizing the shop, helping customers, striking lucrative trade deals, and learning all the juicy gossip around town.

While the primary focus of Discounty is supermarket management, the relationships players make around the community can help their business soar. Players must gain the trust of the locals to unlock trade deals and the ability to sell local specialty goods. As players increase their profits, they can also expand their supermarkets to fit a larger variety of items.

In the Discounty demo, players will attempt to manage the store and unlock trade deals with vendors around town for a few days. Players will operate Discounty between 8 AM and 4 PM while using the time before and after work to complete additional tasks. These tasks range from finding lost sheep to talking with customers and gathering additional resources to sell and use to sell items. 

The Discounty demo can be completed within forty minutes to an hour. The longer timeframe is if players take breaks or extend the demo by not completing the final task. The Discounty demo is available on Steam, and the full game is set to release on August 21st, 2025.
