Coffee Talk Tokyo Overview & Demo Experience

In Coffee Talk Tokyo, players will brew various beverages, listen to lo-fi beats, and offer a listening ear to a set of mysterious and often mystical clientele seeking refuge from the summer heat.

As the name suggests, the newest addition to the Coffee Talk franchise takes place in a magical version of Tokyo, where traditional and new coexist. Players will meet a variety of new characters, including their assistant Vin, who struggles with a complicated past, Ayame, a ghostly it girl searching for answers about her past and figuring out her present situation, and many more.

In the Coffee Talk Tokyo demo, players will play through the game’s first day. Throughout the day, they will meet several characters and attempt to brew them a delicious warm beverage while listening to their stories.

Though short, the demo does give players a glimpse into some of the more emotionally heavy topics the game will explore. In addition to meeting the characters, players will also get a sample of the Coffee Talk Tokyo soundtrack.

The Coffee Talk Tokyo demo takes thirty minutes to complete and is currently available on Steam. The full game will be available March 6th, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
